Nikhil Chinapa hacks into the cast online!
Y-Films’ Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge is taking its being ‘India’s first Facebook love story’ very seriously and has now tapped into a host of internet biggies to promote its film in an innovative way. Kickstarting the action is one of India’s coolest online influencers, VJ & DJ, Nikhil Chinapa – to host a very twisted version of a ‘Making of’. Versus the regular questions about characters, etc. Chinapa quizzes the gang on their weirdest online habits, social media cock-ups and more.
First off the block is a hilarious take on the song ‘Dheaon Dheaon’ – a mad koothu-hip-hop fusion track from the film. So, if you’re liking the lip lockings and grooving to the hip-hoppings, go check out how this track was made. Check it out on www.facebook.com/YFilms.
Dheaon Dheaon has been scored by Raghu Dixit, one of the country’s most talented indie musicians, and sung by Vishal Dadlani and Aditi Singh Sharma, featuring rap by Machas with Attitude.
MFK is a romantic comedy set against the backdrop of social networking, Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge tells the story of two losers, Vishal & Preity who fake their identities online to woo two really hot people, Malvika & Rahul. Little do they know that the person they totally hate in real life is the same person, they’ve fallen in love with online. Making ‘MFK’, this season’s most screwed up love story.
The film marks the debut of 4 very talented actors, Saqib Saleem, Saba Azad, Tara D’Souza & Nishant Dahiya besides director, Nupur Asthana who was previously known for hugely popular cult TV shows like Hip Hip Hurray & Mahi Way and of course, Raghu Dixit.
Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge… Fake It, if you can’t Make It! In cinemas, October 14th 2011.
